The Ace Book Club of the Twin Cities aims to promote community through literature. This group is for young adults (age 13-25) who wish to connect with other asexual, demisexual, gray-a, etc. youth. Each month we will read and discuss a book, generally aimed at a YA audience, that either includes an asexual major character or has a strong asexual interest (i.e. features an explicitly nonsexual/queerplatonic relationship). All books will be available at Twin Cities area libraries; books not available in your county can be obtained through interlibrary loan. Books with aromantic characters or interest will also be considered, based on group interest and book availability.
The ABC will not tolerate discrimination against anyone based on sex, gender, age (though we do ask that people be respectful of this as a safe space for youth), ability, neurostatus, race, color, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, romantic orientation, relationship status, body type, or any other factor that does not affect others in the group.
